It's just me.
I'm Dee Kargaev
.
Product designer for fifteen years, building with code and AI for the last
few. The person who reads your brief is the person who
ships your thing.
The path here
- Age 14 → Irkutsk
Started with freelance graphic design.
Small design jobs first: posters, layouts, visual systems, anything that taught me how people actually react to what you put in front of them.
- Moscow Spacecode
Led design work at a digital agency.
After university and freelance work, I led a small design team at Spacecode, shipping web and mobile products for clients including Kaspersky and OTPBank.
- 2019 → 2025 VALK → DatAI Network
Senior product designer for institutional fintech.
I designed product and interface work for VALK, now DatAI Network: a platform used by 70+ financial institutions across 15+ countries, with $4B+ in deals managed. Complex flows, high-stakes users, no room for pretty-but-useless design.
- Now Los Angeles
Solo studio, mostly building AI.
Founder work, AI integration, and the occasional landing page that has to convert. Async-first, fixed price, one engagement at a time. Also shipping my own things in public: Dory, GEO research, and a book called Don't Replace Me.
How the studio works
- Fixed price
- The number you see is the number you pay. Day-1 refundable checkpoint on every engagement.
- Async-first
- No discovery calls before there's something concrete to look at. Loom > meeting, every time.
- I'll tell you no
- If your project isn't a fit for a solo studio, I'll say so in the first reply and point you at someone better.
Tell me what you want to ship.
Two paragraphs is enough. What you want, when you need it. I'll come back with scope, price, and a start date, or a quick "not the right fit" with a better recommendation.
